What is included with Beacon
What’s included

Quick to install. Built to stay put.

Each Beacon includes one tracker, two adhesive rings, and one alcohol wipe for prep. Clean the disc, attach Beacon to the center, and allow the adhesive to cure before play.

1. Clean and prep

Wash your disc with warm, soapy water. Then use the included alcohol wipe to clean the center of the disc and the back of Beacon.

2. Apply the adhesive ring

Place the adhesive ring over the center nub on the bottom of your disc. The center hole makes it easy to line up and center.

3. Attach Beacon and let it cure

Press Beacon firmly onto the adhesive ring, then let the adhesive cure for 72 hours before play for the strongest hold.

Definitely helps find mis-thrown discs.

I gave a couple to a friend and so far we've recovered all our discs with help from the Beacon. It can take a bit to find the disc since the sound can be muffled if it lands right side up. For me 10 seconds for beeps is good so you can concentrate while driving but can be too long when trying to find your disc. I suggest a steady beep 2-3 minutes after turning on. I prefer the high-low tone. You can always put it in setup mode and hear a constant beep.

Really, really good if you're not hearing impaired.

It's easy to apply. I have some hearing loss in the higher ranges, apparently. I can hear it beeping when I have it in my hand, but not when it's even just a few feet away from me. The other people I was playing with were able to hear it from 5-10 feet away, one time even in the water, so it works great, but not for me because of my hearing loss.
